About the Role:

Reporting to the College Principal and Foundation Chair, the Foundation Manager position is an integral role within Bialik College and specifically, the Bialik College Foundation. The purpose of the Foundation Manager is to drive fundraising efforts for the Foundation, enabling the College to provide world-leading Jewish education, programs and facilities for all.

This is a part-time position – work only 22.8 hours per week and choose to work 3 full days, or 5 school-hour days. Work only during school term plus 2 weeks of school holidays (42 weeks per year).

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Proven track record of reaching (and exceeding) annual fundraising targets
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive and effective long-lasting relationships with donors and other key internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in speaking, presenting and storytelling
  • A deep knowledge of and experience with relationship fundraising principles which may include LIA, Gift Search, Wealth Scan and Moves Management principles and applications
  • Experience in collaborating closely with team members, cross functional teams and key internal and external stakeholders
  • Understanding of the individual philanthropic environments and current philanthropic best practices
  • Ability to analyse, plan and implement strategic processes/programs
  • Computer literacy skills in MS Office applications, communication software (Mailchimp) and online donation widgets (Donor Box & Raisely), website builders (Square Space), together with the ability to quickly learn tailored relationship/database programs and software
  • Passionate about the provision of a world class Jewish education, as well as ensuring all Jewish children can access education at Bialik College
  • A willingness to work flexibly and at times, outside of regular office hours, if required by donors and for events
