Are you a data-driven problem solver who loves connecting systems and turning complex information into meaningful insights?
United Israel Appeal (UIA) NSW is seeking a Data & Systems Specialist to help optimise UIA’s data environment and strengthen data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Head of Operations and Fundraising Support, you will work across multiple platforms — CRM, finance, event and marketing systems — helping the team adopt best-practice data and reporting processes and use efficient, insight-driven systems. You will enjoy hands-on data work while improving processes and creating reports that drive real-world outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
· CRM Management – Maintain and update donor records in ThankQ, assist with data cleaning, reporting, and segmentation, and document CRM processes.
· Systems Support – Coordinate and support use of organisational systems (CRM, MYOB, event and marketing platforms), ensure data consistency, and manage basic troubleshooting with external support.
· Data & Reporting – Collect, clean, and analyse data across systems; identify trends; build dashboards and reports; support reconciliations between systems like MYOB and donation records.
· Data Governance & Quality – Monitor KPIs, uphold data governance standards, and implement quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
· General Admin Support – Provide data-related admin and event support, assist divisions with reporting needs, and maintain process documentation and knowledge sharing.
For a detailed list of responsibilities, please request an Information Pack per ‘How to apply’ below.
About You:
· A degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, or similar, or equivalent experience.
· 3+ years in data, CRM or reporting — comfortable handling both hands-on data management and higher-level analysis.
· Strong Excel skills and an eye for patterns. Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker Studio is advantageous.
· A collaborative, can-do attitude and curiosity about how tech can make work smarter.
· Alignment with UIA’s mission and values, plus high standards of confidentiality and accuracy.
Why you will love this role:
· Make data matter – your work directly supports humanitarian and community projects in Israel.
· Variety every day – from cleaning and mapping data across systems to building dashboards and improving workflows.
· Join a strong team – Work with passionate, values-driven professionals in a supportive, purpose-led team.
· Job security, benefits & growth – Enjoy permanent stability, extra Jewish holiday leave, and the chance to grow your career.
